Hire an Outside Expert for the Decisions You Can't Afford to Get Wrong
I'm Michael Seethaler: business consultant and digital architect. I can help you make the high-stakes calls about the technology that runs your livelihood.
Together, we'll build sovereign, powerful digital architecture which enables you in your personal and professional goals. Engagements are scoped around your established objectives and priced against their value.
Every engagement starts with establishing conceptural agreement.
Before any work is scoped or any price is quoted, we agree in writing on three things.
Objectives
What business outcomes do we aim to achieve. These must be measurable, and bounded, viz. hours reclaimed, cost removed, revenue increased, capability gained.
Measures
Metrics by which we can determine progress and completion. They can be scientific or anecdotal.
Value
What is meeting those objectives worth? The fee is set against that value and fixed based on the value of the engagement.
The decisions that are expensive to get wrong.
Digital architecture is uniquely sticky. Make the right choices now, to prevent tec-debt and painful migrations down the road.
Technology Strategy & Roadmap
Where your systems should be headed over the next one to three years, and the order to move in.
Own vs. Rent Decisions
Which tools are worth owning outright and which are fine to keep renting. Where sovereignty pays off and where the tradeoff isn't worth it.
System Architecture
How your CRM, accounting, jobs, documents, and automation should fit together as one connected system, instead of a pile of subscriptions that don't talk to each other.
AI & Automation Strategy
Where automation actually earns back its cost, and where it's a shiny distraction from fixing the fundamentals first. Signal over noise.
Vendor & Tool Selection
A straight, unconflicted second opinion before you sign a multi-year contract or bet your operations on a platform. I don't take vendor kickbacks, so the advice is yours alone.
Messy Migrations
When you need to move off a busted system to something that works.
Digital Sovereignty Roadmap
A staged plan to move off the dependencies you can't afford to be hostage to, at a pace that won't harm your business.< p>
Start with a conversation.
The first step is a conversation about what your business is trying to accomplish and where the technology is getting in the way. If an engagement makes sense, we'll scope it around your objectives, agree on how we'll measure success, and I'll name a fixed fee against the value. If it doesn't make sense, we won't move forward with it.
Use the booking page in the footer to start a conversation. Chose whichever option makes sense for your situation.
